Slightly Misleading description
I purchased this Corkscrew as a gift for my sister, I am a Sommelier, and she is a Server, and we work at the same restaurant...she has long admired my Chateau Laguiole Corkscrew, so I wanted to get her something similar as a gift. My corkscrew is made of spent barrels from Margaux, so I figured the "dark oak" option for this corkscrew would be a nice way to give her a more affordable version of my own...when it arrived, I was very disappointed to see that the handle of this corkscrew was not in fact oak, but rather a cheap plastic with a simulated wood grain printed on it...the overall quality of the corkscrew is passable, and it is made in France which is preferable to ones not made in France, but the fact that it isn't real wood is somewhat of a disappointment, and sort of makes this item not worth the money, as there are in fact genuine wood versions available at this price point...

I kept it
Was for a gift. Plastic handle rather cheap looking considering what the price was.
I kept it for myself, and gave the container and leather case with a much nicer cork screw knife, with an olive wood handle for less $$.
